Job Description: IS4S is seeking a Contracts Administrator in Auburn, AL. Join a team that is expanding the capabilities for the US Armed Forces through a multi-disciplinary approach to overcome real-world problems and limitations impacting today’s soldier.
The selected person will be responsible for supporting all phases of contract administration, from initiation to close-out, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations. This role involves supporting bids and proposals, reviewing and managing contract terms and conditions, and data entry of contract information into various tools.
Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the preparation of proposals, including reviewing solicitations, participating in proposal meetings and submitting proposals
- Administer all phases of contract management, including initiation, performance tracking, processing modifications and close-out
- Creating and executing subcontract plans including flowing down applicable requirements to subcontractors
- Execute purchase orders and see the process through ensuring vendors are paid
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies
- Set up and maintain projects and contracts in Costpoint
- Work with program managers to assist with submitting and tracking contract deliverables
- Coordinate issues for program managers and interact with clients to resolve outstanding matters
- Working with other contract administrators across sites
- Handling multiple, simultaneous priorities
- Stay updated on evolving government regulations and their impact on agreements and business practices
- Perform special assignments as requested by management

Required Abilities, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business or legal fields plus 4-6 years of directly related US Government contract experience
- Strong working knowledge of FAR / DFARS and government contracting requirements
- Experience with all contract types (Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Firm Fixed Price, T&M)
- Experience with US Government contracting mechanisms such as BAAs, IDIQs, OTAs, CSOs, CRADAs, etc.
- Ability to analyze and interpret contract terms and conditions
- High proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), Adobe Acrobat, and desktop publishing software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- US Citizenship is required
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Other formal training or education related to government contracting, law, and/or corporate compliance
- Experience with Costpoint or similar accounting systems
- Able to learn invoice and documentation requirements quickly and apply them consistently
- Understanding of export controls and restrictions including ITAR and EAR
- Experience keeping accounts active and up to date, including JCP and SAM.gov
