Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer – Nuclear Power Plant
Location: Onsite – Glen Rose, Texas

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at the Glen Rose nuclear power facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and extensive experience in nuclear power plant operations, instrumentation and control (I&C), and distributed control systems (DCS). This role requires hands-on expertise with the hardware and software of Siemens TXP and T3000 systems, as well as a solid understanding of power plant maintenance and operational practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for electrical systems within the nuclear power plant.
- Maintain and troubleshoot I\&C systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize Siemens TXP and T3000 DCS platforms.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to resolve system issues and implement improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and procedures as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in nuclear power plant operations or maintenance.
- Proven experience with I&C systems and DCS platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens TXP and T3000 systems is required.
- Knowledgeable in the turbine governor control system (SIMADYN)
- Experience with PLC programming (ladder logic, function block diagrams) and industrial control software (e.g., RSLogix, Unity Pro, WinCC).
- Strong knowledge of power plant electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Glen Rose, Texas.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with NRC, NERC regulations and industry standards.
- Familiarity with electrical codes such as IEEE and NEC
- Experience in system upgrades and modernization projets
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
