What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Utility Aide position at IRWIN COUNTY HOSPITAL?
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents in an assisted living or nursing home setting
- Follow dietary restrictions and special instructions provided by residents and/or healthcare professionals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with bussing tables and dishwashing as needed
- Adhere to proper food handling and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with culinary staff to ensure efficient meal service
Responsibilities:
- Dishwashing
- Food set up
- Assist with serving all 3 meals
- Assist cook
- Prep deserts
- Clean Coolers
- Mopping
Skills:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to interact with residents, staff, and visitors
- Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
