Required: Valid California Teaching Credential or Pupil Personnel Services Credential OR Emergency 30 Day Substitute Teaching Permit (**We do not advise that you apply for the sub permit directly or online with the CTC, as it takes too long to be granted - please see the link "Substitute Teacher Permit Information" under links related to this job for information on how to apply for it through the Orange County Department of Education Credentialing office) Current Daily Rate - $180/day (over 4 hours) Half Day Rate - $115/day (less than 4 hours) Long Term Rate (goes into effect on the 16th consecutive day in the same assignment): $220/day (full days) $140/day (half days) IUSD Student Teachers - you do not need to apply here to be hired as a substitute while student teaching here in IUSD. Your mentor teacher will be provided with a form for you to fill out once you start your student teaching assignment. HR will reach out to you shortly thereafter to invite you to a substitute teacher hiring orientation.You may not sub until you are hired. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
