IT Support Administrator (Level 2)

Our client is looking for an IT Support Administrator to join a growing team of about 20 technicians who support roughly 8,000 users across the organization. In this role you'll provide hands-on and remote Level 1 and 2 support with some light admin work. • Location: Dulles, VA (Onsite)
• Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $28-$38/hr

What You'll Do:

• Provide Level 1 and 2 support, onsite and remotely, troubleshooting issues by phone, chat, and email for users across the entire company.
• Manage accounts and devices across the Microsoft stack, including Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange.
• Work an active ticket queue of about 270 tickets per tech each month, documenting incidents and escalating to the right teams when needed.
• Partner with vendors and carriers to resolve problems and outages, and train users on hardware and software.
• Create and maintain knowledgebase documentation for new and existing procedures.

What Gets You the Job:

• 3 years of IT Helpdesk or Desktop Support experience in an enterprise environment, ideally 3-5 years at Level 2.
• Required hands-on Intune experience, plus strong knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS/DHCP, and Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange administration.
• Experience with ticketing systems, GPOs, patch management, and remote troubleshooting tools.
• A strong customer service mindset that is empathetic, professional, and friendly, and a desire to be the go-to face of IT.
• Clear writing and speaking skills for explaining technical solutions to non-technical users. IT certifications and a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field are preferred.
