Irvine Chinese Immersion Academy is the first Public Charter School approved by the Irvine Unified School District. We are the only tuition-free Mandarin dual-immersion program that adapts the progressive immersion model in Orange County, California. Our goal is to prepare students to become global citizens through the development of bilingualism, biliteracy, and cross-cultural competence. We are seeking innovative and experienced educators to join our team!
Requirements / Qualifications
Required: Valid California Teaching Credential OR Emergency 30 Day Substitute Teaching Permit Current Daily Rate - $200/day (over 4 hours) Half Day Rate - $120/day (less than 4 hours) Long Term Rate (goes into effect on the 30th consecutive day in the same assignment): $220/day (full days) $120/day (half days) Student Teachers - you do not need to apply here to be hired as a substitute while student teaching. Please see the administrator at the site you are student teaching at and give them your information, you should receive an email from HR directly once they add you to our list. You must scan the documents listed below and attach them to your EdJoin application. Sorry, we do not accept hand-delivered, e-mailed, or mailed copies. Please attach only the documents that are requested. - Credential Copy - Letter(s) of Recommendation (2 Letters) - Resume
