Business Development / Account Manager
Pay: This role offers a base salary plus commission structure. On-target earnings (OTE) are estimated between $75,000–$100,000 annually based on performance.

Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Account Manager / Sales Executive to manage existing customer relationships while actively contributing to new business growth. This role combines account management, consultative selling, and proactive prospecting.
While this is not a high-volume cold calling position, the ideal candidate is comfortable with outbound outreach, networking, and strategic prospecting to build a healthy sales pipeline and uncover new opportunities.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Management
- Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned client accounts
- Maintain strong, long-term client relationships through regular communication and strategic reviews
- Understand client business objectives and align Ironstack Technology’s services to their needs
- Identify and recommend upsell and cross-sell opportunities (managed services, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, compliance, backup, etc.)
- Coordinate with technical teams to ensure successful onboarding, renewals, and ongoing service delivery
- Manage contract renewals, expansions, and service adjustments
Sales, Prospecting & Business Development
- Proactively prospect new business through targeted outbound outreach, referrals, networking, and partner relationships
- Research and identify ideal-fit prospects within Ironstack Technology’s target markets
- Conduct discovery calls and needs assessments with prospective clients
- Follow up on marketing-generated leads and inbound inquiries
- Build and maintain a consistent sales pipeline through regular prospecting activity
- Present and sell managed IT services using a consultative, solutions-based approach
- Prepare proposals, pricing, and service agreements
- Track activities, opportunities, and forecasts accurately in the CRM
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or IT/MSP-related roles
- Comfort with outbound prospecting and relationship-based sales development
- Working knowledge of managed IT services and technology solutions
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to translate technical solutions into business value
- Organized, self-directed, and results-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in an MSP or IT services sales environment
- Familiarity with prospecting tools, CRM platforms, and sales workflows
- Experience selling recurring revenue services (MSP, SaaS, or IT contracts)
- Established SMB or mid-market business relationships (a plus)
