Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior CT Technologist to join our team in San Francisco, California. This is a full-time direct hire opportunity supporting both inpatient and outpatient imaging services within an acute care environment.
The Senior CT Technologist is a CRT/ARRT-certified professional who maintains an active ARRT CT Certification and demonstrates advanced competency in CT imaging procedures, including contrast injection administration and patient care coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT examinations in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Safely operate within an acute care environment while collaborating with anesthesia teams and other patient care departments.
- Demonstrate competency in injection procedures required for CT imaging.
- Maintain excellent patient care and safety standards during all procedures.
- Participate in the training and onboarding of students and new hires.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for staff and team members.
- Demonstrate leadership abilities through participation in advanced and complex imaging procedures.
- Maintain flexibility with scheduling, including rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and coverage needs.
- Assist at any affiliated Medical Center locations as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of CT experience in an acute care setting.
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Active ARRT Licensure required - ARRT (CT) Certification - Venipuncture Certification - BLS Certification
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures, patient safety, and acute care workflows.
- Ability to effectively teach both basic and advanced procedures.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring and supporting new employees and students.
- Flexibility to rotate shifts and provide weekend and holiday coverage.
- Must be willing to support multiple Medical Center locations as needed.
- Previous leadership or lead technologist experience preferred.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
Salary : $170,000 - $198,000
