Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Sr. Interventional Radiologic Technologist
- San Francisco, California
- This position will be supporting both Body and Neuro IR. Must be available to work Monday to Friday with call duties (50% pay) on weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Call duties will be after hours
- The Senior IR Technologist advanced responsibilities can include, yet are not limited to the following:
- Demonstrate competency actively and participate in the lead/coordinator role.
- Active participation in an annual performance improvement project or active participation in IR
- Quality Assurance/Radiation Safety meetings.
- Demonstrate competency and the ability to instruct one or more of the advanced procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-6 years of IR experience. Previous experience in healthcare environment required (minimum 3-5 years).
- Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.
- Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.
- Must be willing to assist at any of our client's Medical Center Locations
- Must be willing to learn and train in Neuro-IR and Body-IR
- Must be willing to circulate and fill scrubbing roles during procedures as necessary Ability to self direct and organize a varied workload
