Position Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care, including evaluation and treatment of acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions.
- Conduct patient histories, physical examinations, and preventive health assessments.
- Develop treatment plans and manage ongoing patient care.
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing and prescribe medications within applicable scope and practice requirements.
- Provide preventive care, patient education, and chronic disease management.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, care managers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current New York State Physician Assistant license and applicable certification.
- Eligible for required prescribing privileges and practice credentialing.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork.
- Primary care or family medicine experience preferred.
Experienced PAs and qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply.
