Class A Delivery Driver

IronEdge Logistics LLC is IMMEDIATELY hiring CDL-A drivers for Dedicated, Home-Daily Solo routes near Cypress, Texas. This is a touch-freight position delivering auto parts to dealerships.

• Monday - Friday; Home DAILY
• Solo Drivers average $1,200 - $1,400 per week (pay may be higher depending on assigned route after training)
• Night time driving
• TOUCH FREIGHT - pallet jacks provided, Lift gates on trailers.
• 1099 Position, paid weekly
• Local & Regional, Dedicated Routes

Additional Responsibilities

• Proper use of Electronic Logging Device (ELD), including pre and post-trip inspections
• Safe, on-time delivery
• Scanning freight with scanners provided, including both deliveries and returns
• Communicating in real-time with Dispatch and Safety
• Completing paperwork in a timely manner
• Courtesy, Respect, and Professionalism with customers
• Must be comfortable with touch freight, a manual pallet jack will be provided for each commercial vehicle
• All commercial vehicles are equipped with Lytx devices that provide safety metrics from outside and inside the cab

Requirements

• Valid and current Class A CDL
• Must have 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
• Ability to meet all DOT requirements
• Clean MVR

This job requires lifting cargo exceeding 50 lbs., working in adverse weather conditions, and using critical thinking to prevent injury and accidents.
