Ironcore, an MSP focused on supporting financial institutions, is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join our growing team. This role combines technical expertise with sales acumen to deliver tailored solutions for our customer base. The ideal candidate will possess a background in computer networking, cloud platforms, and virtualization, along with excellent communication skills to support pre-sales activities and develop IT solutions.
Duties
- Prepare and deliver product demonstrations to current and prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the Sales team and Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to define project scopes based on client requirements.
- Design tailored solutions that address specific client challenges, including network, server, cloud, and cybersecurity needs.
- Assist in preparing proposals, statements of work, and other documentation to support the sales process.
- Conduct technical assessments and discovery sessions with prospective clients to gather requirements and assess existing environments.
- Evaluate client infrastructure to determine potential areas for improvement and recommend solutions that fit their needs.

- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase MSP services and technologies to prospective clients.
- Articulate the technical features, benefits, and advantages of MSP solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
- Work with project and service teams to verify that proposed solutions can be implemented effectively.
Skills
- Strong understanding of cloud, networking, storage, and security solutions.
- Experience with pre-sales activities including product demos.
- Excellent analysis skills for evaluating client requirements and designing effective solutions.
- Basic understanding of the project management process in order to effectively coordinate with our Project Managers.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with both technical teams and non-technical clients.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
