About the Position
Ironclad Environmental Solutions is seeking a Mechanic to join our Midland team. This position maintains, diagnoses, and repairs pumps, generators, and related mechanical equipment, helping keep our rental fleet operating safely and reliably.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical problems and complete repairs on diesel-powered equipment, pumps, generators, and related rental equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine equipment inspections.
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble pumping equipment and mechanical components.
- Inspect and test repaired equipment to verify proper operation before returning it to service.
- Read and interpret repair manuals, schematics, and equipment instructions.
- Document repairs, maintenance performed, and parts used.
- Communicate equipment condition and repair needs to branch leadership.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow company safety procedures.
- Handle and dispose of fluids and other materials according to company procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills and proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Experience servicing diesel engines, pumps, generators, heavy equipment, or industrial rental equipment preferred.
- Diesel or heavy equipment repair training or certification preferred.
- Ability to read technical instructions and maintain accurate service records.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work independently and with a team.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to perform physical duties such as standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and moving equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Flexibility to meet branch operating needs.
