The Role
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining records, and supporting accounting operations including accounts payable, reconciliations, and reporting.
This position works closely with internal teams such as purchasing and operations, ensuring financial processes run smoothly and discrepancies are resolved efficiently.
Success in this role requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple financial processes simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and track all payments and expenditures including payroll, invoices, and purchase orders
- Manage accounts payable processes including verifying, processing, and reconciling invoices
- Prepare and process payments to employees and vendors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies or payment issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records within accounting systems
- Perform account reconciliations including general ledger, payroll, and receivables
- Maintain historical financial records and documentation
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation
- Collaborate with purchasing and internal teams to resolve accounts payable discrepancies
- Assist in improving accounting processes and workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- 3–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-currency environment
- Strong experience with accounts payable, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with consolidation and currency translation preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
