Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across various areas of the facility

• Conduct janitorial duties such as restroom sanitation, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met consistently
• Assist with custodial maintenance tasks like window cleaning, surface disinfecting, and light repairs as needed
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any safety hazards or equipment issues promptly
• Use commercial cleaning equipment effectively for industrial cleaning projects or large-scale cleaning tasks
• Keep detailed logs of cleaning activities and supply inventories to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods
• Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or troubleshooting equipment issues
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Excellent time management skills to handle flexible hours effectively
