About the Role
Iron Ridge Contracting is looking for a reliable and hardworking Laborer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is eager to learn, and wants to grow in the construction and remodeling field. Our projects include decks, 3-Season rooms, patios, basements, kitchens, bathrooms, and other residential renovations.
Key Responsibilities
Assist carpenters and crew members with general construction tasks
Load, unload, and move materials and job site supplies
Help with site preparation, demolition, and cleanup
Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
Support deck, remodeling, and renovation projects as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
Follow directions from foreman and work collaboratively with the crew
Adhere to all company and OSHA safety standards
Requirements
Prior construction or general labor experience
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions
Reliable transportation to and from job sites
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
Valid driver’s license preferred
Physical Demands
Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and standing
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Must follow safety procedures and wear required protective equipment
Benefits
Pay: $20–$35 per hour (based on experience)
Health benefits available after 90 days
Paid time off: 40 hours after 90 days

Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Occasional weekends as needed
