Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Records Management Analyst to join our Remote US team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly shape how our clients organize and safeguard their critical data assets by driving key record lifecycle decisions. Working alongside our Records Manager, your expertise in record classification, inventorying, and disposition will help transform complex physical and digital records into streamlined, highly actionable workflows.

Iron Mountain is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Records Management Analyst to join our Remote US team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly shape how our clients organize and safeguard their critical data assets by driving key record lifecycle decisions. Working alongside our Records Manager, your expertise in record classification, inventorying, and disposition will help transform complex physical and digital records into streamlined, highly actionable workflows.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
- Perform Smart Sort activities to efficiently categorize, inventory, and classify customer records.
- Determine record eligibility for destruction, ongoing retention, or inventory integration based on established compliance policies.
- Partner closely with the Records Manager to execute daily operational duties across the entire records lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3 years of hands-on experience in records management, information governance, or data classification.
- Strong knowledge of the end-to-end records management lifecycle, retention schedules, and disposition protocols.
- Proven expertise utilizing Smart Sort methodologies or automated record sorting platforms.
- Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills and rigorous attention to detail.
- Competitive Salary : 85 to 95k depending on the experience
- Annual Bonus : 5%
