We are a rapidly growing general contracting company generating $7–10 million in annual sales. Our continued growth has created an opportunity for an experienced, highly organized Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. This is a key role that helps keep projects, subcontractors, materials, and internal teams moving efficiently.
This position is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and takes pride in accuracy and follow-through.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain project schedules across multiple active jobs.
- Communicate daily with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
- Track deadlines, inspections, deliveries, and project milestones.
- Maintain detailed and accurate notes on project activity and communications.
- Manage multiple incoming requests and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Follow established checklists and processes to ensure every task is completed thoroughly and on time.
- Update spreadsheets, schedules, and project records using Microsoft Excel.
- Identify scheduling conflicts before they become project delays.
- Provide administrative support to project management as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working for a construction company (required).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent note-taking, documentation, and follow-up skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to precise execution.
- Ability to retain and manage numerous pieces of information throughout the day without losing focus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to perform well under pressure.
