Iron County is accepting applications for a Lead Cook in the Cedar City Senior Citizen Center. Position may work **up to** 20 hours per week. Days and hours are set and are not flexible. Must be able to work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Job Summary: Performs a variety of duties in the Senior Center related to leading and participating in the preparation of meals for congregate and home delivery. Works under the guidance and direction of the Center Director.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; Knowledge of nutrition, sanitation and cooking standards; Prefer work related experience for large groups; Valid Food Handlers Permit; Must obtain Serv Safe Certificate within 3 months of hire.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen.
