Iron County is accepting applications for one (1) Code Enforcement position for the Iron County Building and Zoning Department. This position will work under the general guidance and direction of the Iron County Building Administrator.

Job Summary

Performs a variety of technical duties as required to assure compliance with County, State, and/or Federal Uniform Building Codes and Ordinances. Performs work in the enforcement of zoning and other land use codes and issues notices of violations, penalties, warnings, and stop-work orders. Minimum Qualifications

• 1.** Graduation from High School or GED
• 2.** Knowledge of Building/Zoning procedures and terminology
• 3.** Must be at least 18 years old
• 4.** Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and thorough background investigation
• 5.** Must have or obtain a valid Utah Drivers License, and keep compliance with Iron County Personnel Policy Section 30
