**Enoch Elementary School is seeking a Full Time Licensed School Counselor or Licensed School Social Worker to work beginning in August for the 2026-2027 school year.**

**The Licensed School Counselor or Licensed School Social Worker is under the direction of the Director Of Student Services. The Licensed School Counselor or Licensed School Social Worker works collaboratively with assigned school administrators, special education teams, and school staff to develop and implement responsive tier one, two, and three mental health and student support services. The provider supports students, parents, and staff through prevention, intervention, consultation, counseling, and crisis response services designed to address students' behavioral and academic needs.**

• **Provides Tier 1 classroom instruction and prevention-based lessons related to learning, coping skills, student well-being.**
• **Provides Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions and supports that promote student well-being.**
• **Facilitates individual and group counseling services focused on** **social skills, emotional recognition and regulation, coping skills for worry/anxiety, anger management, grief or loss, family change, and student wellness.**
• **Builds positive relationships with students through regular schoolwide visibility, classroom support, and proactive student engagement.**
• **Supports schoolwide prevention and intervention efforts aligned with the Utah Comprehensive School Counseling Model and district mental health initiatives.**
• **Collaborates with school teams to conduct needs assessments and identify appropriate behavioral, emotional, and academic supports for students.**
• **Assists with crisis prevention, intervention, and postvention supports for students, staff, and families.**
• **Provides short-term and solution-focused counseling interventions within the school setting.**
• **Coordinates and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to support students receiving special education services, behavioral supports, or intervention services.**
• **Supports continuity of care and communication among school staff, families, and outside providers when appropriate.**
• **Participates in schoolwide systems of support including MTSS, PBIS, attendance interventions, threat assessment

• **Assists in developing equitable systems of student support across assigned schools and programs.**
• **Maintains familiarity with district-approved mental health screening tools, data collection systems, and intervention frameworks.**
• **Provides consultation and coaching to teachers regarding classroom management strategies, student mental health concerns, trauma-informed practices, and student wellness supports.**
• **Supports students transitioning between programs, placements, or schools, including students in specialized programs or behavioral support classrooms.**
• **Attends pr fessional seminars, conferences, district meetings, and workshops as required by the position and with administrative consent.**
• **Must have basic computer knowledge, be familiar with Google docs and check email frequently. Must be willing to learn and use all computer systems and software as needed.**
• **Works collaboratively with outside providers, community agencies, and families to coordinate student supports and services when appropriate.**
• **Makes appropriate referrals to school-based, district, and community resources to support students' social, emotional, behavioral, academic, and mental health needs.**
• **Supports continuity of care and communication between the school, families, and outside providers while maintaining student confidentiality and compliance with applicable laws and district policies.**
• **Regular, reliable, predictable attendance and job performance is required**
