Role Description:
This is a 3 month, unpaid internship role. If you prove to be a good fit, you will be offered a longterm opportunity to build a brand that you align with and potentially become a stakeholder in the company.
The Social Media Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and managing social media strategies across various platforms to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Day-to-day tasks include creating compelling social media content, scheduling posts, analyzing the performance of campaigns, engaging with followers, and collaborating with the team to align social media initiatives with broader marketing goals. The role will also involve staying current with emerging trends and best practices in social media and digital marketing.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Marketing and/or Communications degree from an accredited university
- Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation
- Strong foundation in Digital Marketing and Marketing strategies
- Excellent Communication skills, including verbal and written communication
- Ability to analyze social media metrics and adapt strategies for optimization
- Creative mindset and ability to develop engaging, on-brand content
- Highly experienced with social media tools and platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn)
- Experience in eCommerce marketing or working with American-made brands is a plus
