What are the responsibilities and job description for the Desktop Support Analyst - Full Time position at IRMC?
In this role you will be:
- Responsible for the configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrade of any desktop device including hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Installing or overseeing the installation of all software housed on any desktop device.
- Monitoring our desktop devices, collecting and analyzing usage statistics, and producing reports reflecting the usage and stability of our desktop devices.
- Researching, purchasing, and implementing software/hardware to produce reports.
- Researching, evaluating, and recommending desktop hardware and software.
- Responsible for maintaining all necessary desktop security.
- Maintaining/supporting all appropriate user access and security at the desktop level.
- Building and maintaining updated desktop procedure documentation for use by all IS support personnel.
- Maintaining skills at an adequate level to provide support for other technical areas including OS/server and network technicians.
- Able to work independently and exercise sound judgment in determining desktop device-related problems.
- Utilizing excellent interpersonal communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- EDUCATION: associate degree in electronics, computer science, or a related computer degree/equivalent work experience
- EXPERIENCE:
- Hands-on experience with desktop devices
- 4 years experience in a desktop device support position
- LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Valid PA driver’s license.
