What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic Technologist - Chestnut Ridge and Ligonier - Casual position at IRMC?
In this role you will be:
- Following established procedures, performing EKGs, phlebotomy, and radiographic examinations as ordered by the health care provider and their corresponding documentation in the Electronic Medical Record
- Application of Event monitors (where applicable)
- Assessing and providing appropriate treatment for all patients ranging from neonate through adult.
- Utilizing excellent interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, visitors, and hospital personnel.
- Able to deal with stressful situations and heavy workloads.
- Accurately obtain and enter patient demographic and insurance data for the registration process.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- EDUCATION: Successful completion of an approved school of Radiologic Technology required
- EXPERIENCE: Two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred
- LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- Registered with the ARRT upon hire
- BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire
