Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In this role you will be:
• Following established procedures, performing EKGs, phlebotomy, urine drug screens, and radiographic examinations as ordered by the physician.
• Assessing and providing appropriate treatment for all patients ranging from neonate through adult.
• Working with vital signs, patient discharges, breath alcohol testing, and other duties needed to provide safe and efficient care to all patients.
• Utilizing excellent interpersonal communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, visitors, and hospital personnel.
• Able to deal with stressful situations and heavy workloads.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- EDUCATION: Successful completion of an approved school of radiologic technology
- EXPERIENCE: N/A
- LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- Registered with the ARRT upon hire
- BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire

WORKING CONDITIONS
- WORK ENVIRONMENT: Works in patient care environment with potential exposure to respiratory, chemical, radiation, and electrical hazards as well as mechanical moving parts | Frequent exposure to blood-borne pathogens
- PHYSICAL: Frequently lift up to 25 pounds without assistance. Occasionally lift up to 100 pounds, assisted. Ability to constantly stand, walk, communicate, and use hands and arms to reach, feel, or grasp repetitively.
- VISION: Close vision; clear vision at 20 inches or less | Distance vision; clear vision at 20 feet or more | Color vision; can clearly see and distinguish colors | Depth perception; three-dimensional vision and ability to judge distances and spatial relations.
- HEARING/NOISE: Ability to hear alarms on equipment, client calls, and instructions. The work environment’s noise level is typically at a moderate level.
