What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Care Assistant position at IRIS?
Hello!
My name is Rhena. I am a young professional who has a form of Muscular Dystrophy and uses a power wheelchair. I have just moved back to Appleton after living in Milwaukee for the last 10 years and am urgently looking for Care Workers to help me continue living my life as independently as possible! As one of my workers, you would help me with some of the following: getting out of bed, showering, using the bathroom, brushing my teeth, getting dressed, getting in my chair, and most important, doing my hair and helping with makeup! I don't require you to have previous experience or training, but what I really want is someone who is dependable, flexible, honest and funny.
Shifts that I'm looking to fill:
- Friday from 12:00PM until 6:00PM ($100 before taxes)
- Friday night starting at 8:00PM until Saturday at 10:00AM ($156 before taxes)
- Saturday from 3:00PM until 6:00PM ($57 before taxes)
- Saturday starting at 8:00PM until Sunday at 10:00AM ($156 before taxes)
- Sunday from 3:00PM until 6:00PM ($57 before taxes)
- Sunday starting at 8:00PM until Monday at 5:30AM ($100 before taxes)
- Every weekday night (Monday - Thursday) starting at 8:00PM until the following morning at 5:30AM ($100 before taxes)
** Please Note: I can be flexible with start and end times, as well as, splitting shifts up between other care workers. You also get to sleep if you are working overnight. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact me!
