Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in Flask and FastAPI frameworks to join our team in Whippany, NJ on a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices while working closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Python-based applications using Flask and FastAPI.
- Build and maintain high-performance REST APIs and microservices.
- Integrate applications with databases, third-party services, and cloud platforms.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and development teams.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting production issues.
- Implement automated testing and CI/CD processes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
Required Skills
- 5 years of professional experience in Python development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Flask and FastAPI.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API development and Microservices Architecture.
- Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Knowledge of ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy.
- Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab version control systems.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2).
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
