We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Leader to spearhead new business development initiatives for our IT Services and Consulting practice focused on the Financial Services and Banking industry. This role will drive strategic growth by identifying, engaging, and closing new client opportunities, leveraging deep industry knowledge and consultative selling expertise.

Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Growth
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to penetrate Financial Services and Banking accounts in the region.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in areas such as digital transformation, cloud migration, application development, data analytics, and regulatory compliance solutions.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through networking, industry events, and targeted outreach.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Engage with senior stakeholders (CIO, CTO, Heads of Risk, Compliance, and Operations) to understand business challenges and position tailored IT solutions.
- Conduct consultative discussions, presentations, and solution workshops to demonstrate value.
- Negotiate and close complex deals ensuring alignment with client needs and company objectives.
- Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting Financial Services.
- Provide insights to leadership for refining go-to-market strategies and service offerings.
- Collaboration & Leadership
- Partner with delivery, marketing, and solution teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.
- Mentor junior sales professionals and contribute to building a high-performance sales culture.
Qualifications
- 15 years of experience in IT Services/Consulting sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of selling to Financial Services and Banking clients.
- Strong understanding of digital transformation, cloud, Application development, data analytics, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel within New Jersey and occasionally nationwide.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in consultative and solution-based selling.
- Familiarity with IT outsourcing, managed services, and transformation programs.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance frameworks.
