Do you take pride in a well-run kitchen and meals made with care? Iris Memory Care is looking for a Cook/Chef who loves what they do and understands that a good meal means everything to the people we serve.

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position paying $17/hour. Schedule is Wednesday – Saturday.

About Our Community

We’re a small, freestanding memory care assisted living community in NW OKC. All of our residents live with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia. Smaller team, bigger impact — you’ll truly know every face and every story.

What You’ll Do

Working independently in our kitchen, you’ll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals that meet each resident’s dietary needs. This is hands-on, meaningful work from start to finish.

• Prepare and serve meals following established dietary plans and menu cycles
• Perform dishes and maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining area
• Note and follow any dietary changes or substitutions for individual residents
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
• Coordinate with care staff to ensure residents’ needs are consistently met

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role preferred
• Experience with special diets or food preparation in a healthcare setting a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time well with minimal supervision
• Genuine care for older adults and the people who depend on you
• Reliable work history — consistency matters to our residents
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; 35 lbs regularly
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
