We're partnering with a nationally recognized active lifestyle brand that's expanding its store footprint, investing in private brands, and growing its omnichannel business. This is an opportunity to join a merchandising organization where Buyers have real ownership, influence category strategy, and play a direct role in driving business performance.
In this role, you'll:
- Own category sales, margin, inventory, and assortment strategy.
- Build and negotiate strategic supplier partnerships.
- Identify market trends and new product opportunities.
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Planning, eCommerce, Marketing, Sourcing, and Supply Chain to bring winning assortments to life.
- Use data and customer insights to drive profitable growth while mentoring junior team members.
We're looking for:
- 5 years of buying, merchandising, or category management experience.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing high-SKU product assortments in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
