What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at Iris Hotel Cape Cod?
The maintenance department is responsible for;
- general upkeep and minor repairs (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, guestroom systems, and pool maintenance).
- perform routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance
- diagnose and repair broken assets
- maintain a record of performed maintenance tasks
- keep hand tools, power tools, and supplies organized and clean
- follow safety precautions and adhere to the schedule
- groundskeeping maintenance
- work with front desk and housekeeping to ensure rooms and property are in peak condition.
- responds quickly to guest needs, while ensuring guest disruption is minimal, and turnover is fast and efficient.
- follows all safety codes and regulations, fire safety, pool maintenance, logs and inspections
- Must have good general knowledge of all aspects of maintenance, and a comfort with researching issues that you are unfamiliar with.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
