We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both industrial and commercial settings.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist in facilities maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning schedules are met efficiently.
- Respond promptly to any cleaning emergencies or special requests from management or staff.
Skills
- Proven experience in industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, or custodial services is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, including vacuuming.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
