IRIS Consulting Company is partnering with a growing Twin Cities organization to hire a Network Administrator for a dynamic IT services environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, supporting multiple client environments, and solving a variety of infrastructure and networking challenges.

Position Overview

The Network Administrator will support small to mid-sized business clients across networking, systems administration, cloud technologies, and escalated technical support. This role requires someone who is technically strong, client-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain client network environments, servers, and end-user systems
• Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, switches, and wireless networks
• Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Intune, Entra ID / Active Directory
• Provide escalated technical support for complex infrastructure issues
• Assist with migrations, onboarding, upgrades, and project implementations
• Maintain technical documentation and follow ticketing workflows
• Work directly with clients to resolve issues and recommend solutions

Required Qualifications

• Experience in IT support, systems administration, or network administration
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including VLANs, routing, switching, and VPNs
• Experience with firewall technologies such as WatchGuard, Fortinet, SonicWall, or similar
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments
• Strong communication skills and customer-facing professionalism
• Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-moving environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Managed Services Provider (MSP) experience
• Hyper-V or VMware experience
• ConnectWise or similar ticketing platform experience
• IT certifications preferred
