Full-Time Caregiver Needed (DAY Shift)

Schedule: FRIDAY-SUNDAY, 7 AM–7 PM

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate caregiver to join our team for a full-time overnight position.

Requirements:

✅ HCA / CNA / NAR — Required

✅ Food Handler Card — Required

✅ CPR / First Aid Certification — Required

✅ 12 Hours of Continuing Education — Required

✨ Nurse Delegation — Preferred

✨ Dementia Specialty — Preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide personal care and support to individuals with varying needs including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
• Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring the health and safety of residents.
• Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate medication records.
• Engage residents in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Support residents in mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and other staff members through effective communication and empathy.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including those requiring behavior management or direct support.
• Familiarity with assisted living environments, retirement homes, personal care homes, or group homes is advantageous.
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and the ability to respond appropriately in emergencies.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in caregiving tasks.
