Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years in a similar office administration with emphasis in Human Resources and strong Data Analytics.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Planner, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities with ease.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and resourceful with creative problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational skills are required.
- Experience in a Recruitment role is a plus.
- Experience with USA and Canadian HR, business rules and legislative requirements a plus.
Reporting to our Sr Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for:
- Prepare and distribute offer letters and employment agreements.
- Administer background checks, which include initiating the background check for the specified candidates within required turnaround times.
- Administer drug, alcohol and physical testing which includes working with candidates to book appointments and monitor results.
- Assist with planning job fair events and team activities.
- Schedule interviews for candidates and leaders. Follow up with candidates to ensure they are prepared for their interview.
- Safeguard all confidential sensitive data and candidate privacy.
- Handle correspondence and inquiries from external organizations and candidates.
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth candidate experience
- Handle onboarding of new hires and correspondence to all candidates regarding their status.
- Extract data from various systems and run reports in Excel including headcount, recruitment stats, turnover and other reports as needed.
- A clear Criminal Record Check is required.
- Must provide own steel toed work boots for travel to a site, all other PPE supplied.
- Must be able to reliably commute to the operations site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work.
