The LOTO Electrical Technician will support the safe construction and commissioning of mission-critical data center infrastructure. In this role, you will implement and manage lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures across a wide range of electrical systems, ensuring equipment is properly de-energized, isolated, and verified prior to work. Working closely with commissioning teams, electrical contractors, and safety personnel, you will play a key role in preventing accidental energization, maintaining compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E standards, and supporting system energization, testing, and turnover activities in complex, high-performance environments where safety, precision, and accountability are critical to successful project delivery.

Job Requirements
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical construction, commissioning, or maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of LOTO procedures and electrical safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams and power distribution drawings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters license
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
- NFPA 70E electrical safety training
- LOTO certification
- Experience supporting data center or mission-critical projects
Other important requirements:
- Pre-employment screening, including background check and substance testing may be required according to company policies.
- Must provide own steel-toed work boots; other PPE will be supplied.
- Must be able to reliably commute to the work site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work.
- Must be comfortable working a rotational schedule, which includes day and night shifts as well as weekend work, based on project needs.
- Employees working night shifts will receive a 15% premium added to their hourly rate only for hours worked during night shifts.
- Perform electrical lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures on breakers, disconnects, switchgear, switchboards, and panelboards for voltages ranging from 35kV to 208/120V.
- Execute LOTO activities across critical electrical infrastructure, including medium- and low-voltage systems, UPS systems, battery cabinets, generators, automatic transfer switches (ATS), PDUs, and RPPs.
- Verify absence of voltage using approved testing methods and ensure all energy sources are properly isolated before work begins.
- Support commissioning activities, including system energization, functional testing, and integrated systems testing.
- Apply and manage group lockout procedures and lock boxes when multiple teams are involved.
- Maintain accurate LOTO logs, isolation records, and permit documentation.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA LOTO requirements and NFPA 70E electrical safety standards.
- Coordinate with commissioning teams, electrical contractors, and safety personnel to ensure safe and efficient execution of work.
- Develop and maintain single-line documentation to clearly communicate systems impacted by lockout activities.

Compensation
- The expected hourly range for this role is $48.00 to $58.00 USD.
- Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications.
- Per Diem amount of $155.00 and project allowance, when applicable
- 15% night-shift premium for eligible roles, when applicable
- Overtime compensation for non-exempt workers for hours worked over 40 per week
- Relocation and Living-out-allowance (as applicable and based on successful candidate circumstances)
