We are seeking a HR Generalist (onsite in Childress, TX) to provide day-to-day support across a wide range human resources functions and to provide support to our Operations and Construction teams across our USA sites. This role will focus on employee support, HR administration, and policy compliance, while also assisting Operations managers with workforce planning and employee development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be approachable, organized, and eager to contribute to a positive employee experience.

Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 4-6 years of HR experience in a generalist or coordinator role.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (ADP, HiBob, Workday or similar) required.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- General knowledge of U.S. payroll practices.
- SHRM-CP or other HR certification(s) is an asset but not required.
Other important requirements:
- Pre-employment screening, including background check and substance testing may be required according to company policies.
- Must provide own steel-toed work boots; other PPE will be supplied.
- Must be able to reliably commute to the work site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work.
We are seeking a human resources/operations generalist to provide day-to-day support across a wide range human resources functions and to provide support to our Operations and Construction teams across our USA sites. This role will focus on employee support, HR administration, and policy compliance, while also assisting Operations managers with workforce planning and employee development initiatives. The ideal candidate will be approachable, organized, and eager to contribute to a positive employee experience.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding, ensuring smooth transitions for new hires and departing employees.
- Maintain employee records and ensure HR data is accurate and confidential.
- Provide guidance to employees on company policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Partner with managers to address routine employee relations issues, escalating complex matters as needed.
- Coordinate training sessions, compliance initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
- Support performance review processes through scheduling, communication, and document management.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and primary super-user for the Company’s HRIS (HiBob) within U.S. Operations, providing HRIS support and guidance to managers and employees.
- Assist with administering employee benefits programs and answering related questions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state employment laws (Texas focus).
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Assist with workforce mobility efforts by helping to coordinate transfers, role changes, or relocations to align with business growth,
- Support leaders in identifying key roles and skill sets important for the company’s growth and assist in developing job descriptions and basic development plans.
- Assist managers in anticipating staffing needs by gathering input on future hiring requirements and drafting job descriptions to attract qualified candidates.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for leadership development and succession planning programs.
- Partner with managers to help identify performance challenges and support in implementing practical, people-focused solutions.
