Description
This role provides clinical administration and leadership for Cardiovascular Services Service Line. Promotes quality, cost containment, clinical protocols, technology, efficiencies, and supply utilization Provides daily and strategic administrative oversight and operational control for the assigned Cardiovascular departments. Participates with leaders, management, and leaders in the hospital's decision-making structures and processes.
Supports philosophy and objectives of the hospital. Functions as an expert in Cardiovascular Services management and acts as a resource for staff and patients.
Requirements
Baccalaureate degree in a healthcare field of study and at least five years related experience. Graduate degree preferred.
Demonstrated ability to work well with others in leadership positions and with physicians.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the physician environment within the market area.
Knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and cost containment.
High level of analytical skills necessary to develop and assure compliance and administer the hospital’s mission, administrative, and human resources policies and budgets; monitor and interpret financial statements, and evaluate and develop services and programs.
Positive, professional attitude, outgoing personality with ability to interact with all contacts.
Good physical health, in order to meet the demands of patients, families, physicians, and administration.
Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
