What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Tutor In- home position at iReadingTUTOR?
Teach a special needs child , needs reaading and language instruction - prefer multisensory, structured, literacy or orton gillingham. They are available 9-6pm - parent wants four sessions a week - 1 hour long sessions -
4 hours a week
Looking for Candidates with Orton-Gillingham certifications and experience. Elementary Ed., English, Math, Special Education, Communication, literacy, SLP, Science of Reading Knowledge a must!
Prefer college of Education or Special Needs candidates with some student contact experience.
Must have a bachleors degree in English, Elementary Ed, Secondary Ed, Special Education or a bachleors out of field with Orton Gillingham certification.
Effectively communicate with parents and tutoring center as needed. Take attendance in a tutoring portal after each session.
This is a contract position- you will get an independent contractors agreement and 1099 in Jan 2026.
