What are the responsibilities and job description for the In-Home Tutor position at iReadingTUTOR?
Teach k-8th grader reading and math skills- 1 hour each session -= 2 hours total a week
Looking for Candidates with autism and communication backgrounds. Orton-Gillingham certifications and experience. Elementary Ed., English, Math, Special Education, Communication, literacy, SLP, Science of Reading Knowledge a must!
Prefer college of Education or Special Needs candidates with some student contact experience.
Must have a bachleors degree in English, Elementary Ed, Secondary Ed, Special Education or a bachleors out of field with Orton Gillingham certification.
Effectively communicate with parents and tutoring center as needed. Take attendance in a tutoring portal after each session.
This is a contract position- you will get an independent contractors agreement and 1099 in Jan 2026.
