We're looking for a Payroll Administrator to become an important member of our accounting team, someone who is organized, people-focused, and ready to build a rewarding career with a company that genuinely invests in its employees.

●       A Meaningful and Varied Role — You'll oversee weekly payroll processing, maintain payroll records, assist with timekeeping, ensure compliance with payroll regulations, answer employee payroll questions, and work closely with Human Resources and Accounting to support a smooth and efficient payroll process. What You'll Do

● Accurately maintain all employee payroll files

● Accurately process company’s weekly payroll information, including all related record keeping. This includes regular weekly payrolls, bonus payrolls and any other payroll as requested.

● Prepare all related payments for payroll related taxes, withholdings, etc.

● Prepare Federal & State Tax Summary information (941 Deposit) for VP of Finance to make necessary EFT payroll tax deposits.

● Prepare all certified payroll reports, as required.

● Track and maintain records of all employee vacation, holiday and time off requests.

● Maintain all payroll records on contract “extras” to ensure correct and prompt invoicing.

● Prepare use tax detail and summary sheets.

● Prepare 1094 / 1095 tax returns for all employees.

● Assist others as needed in all accounting and administration functions when required.


What You Bring

● High school diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in business coursework preferred.

● Minimum of 5 years of payroll administration experience, preferably in the construction industry.

● Strong understanding of payroll processes, systems, and applicable payroll regulations.

● Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office.

● Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.

● Exceptional attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.

● Unquestionable integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.

● Ability to build positive working relationships with employees, managers, and external partners.

● Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn company policies and procedures.

● Team-oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
