Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and JavaScript.
- Build and optimize cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services.
- Develop ETL and large-scale data processing pipelines using PySpark, Apache Spark, and AWS Glue.
- Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases, including indexing, partitioning, and query performance tuning.
- Develop RESTful APIs, integrations, and workflow automation solutions.
- Utilize AWS services including Lambda, S3, RDS, EventBridge, and Step Functions.
- Deploy and manage applications within Docker and containerized environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support application deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile development methodologies.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software design and architecture discussions.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience supporting Federal Government projects.
- Active Public Trust Clearance.
- Experience building scalable enterprise applications in AWS environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
