Position: Junior Accountant

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000
Location: NYC, Grand Central (Hybrid; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office)
About Us:
IQPC partners with business leaders worldwide to solve industry challenges, accelerate growth, and navigate change. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a key role across or global entities, contributing to the financial operations that power our expanding international business.
We are looking for a junior accountant who is very comfortable using Excel all day, every day.
Most of the work involves spreadsheets, uploading journal entries into our financial system, refreshing reports or building new ones, reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and helping close the books each month. We want someone who enjoys figuring out smarter or faster ways to do things in Excel and understand our current Excel hacks.
You don’t need years of experience, but you do need to be motivated, curious, organized, and willing to learn quickly.
Your day-to-day work will probably include:
• Entering accounting transactions
• Bank reconciliations
• Paying vendor invoices
• Generate intercompany invoices and address queries for subsidiaries
• Assist with cash flow projections and tracking
• Helping prepare reports for auditors and tax preparation
• Supporting the accounting team wherever needed
• Question and propose better ways to achieve our goals
We are especially interested in candidates who:
• Actually like Excel
• Self-teach or Google solutions when stuck, utilize AI in accordance with company policies
• Can handle repetitive detail-oriented work
• Have a good attitude and work ethic
• Want to grow into a stronger accounting/finance professional
