Main Responsibilities & Technical Competencies
Main Responsibilities include:
- Lead day to day operational support for the Value & Access (V&A) organization, ensuring timely, reliable reporting and performance visibility across payer, GPO, and contracting activities.
- Serve as lead for the development, deployment, and ongoing management of Value & Access reporting and analytics solutions. Collaborate with V&A stakeholders to align on KPIs and dashboard / reporting requirements. Partner with technical resources to create and deploy performance dashboards that support business decision-making.
- Translate V&A business needs into technical system requirements, providing recommendations to system owners for enhancements across CRM, MDM, and data warehouse platforms to enable V&A activities. Support implementation of the payer bridge solution.
- Proactively identify data gaps, data and reporting quality issues, and operational inefficiencies across the V&A data ecosystem, partnering with Business Architecture team and external vendors to implement sustainable improvements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Ipsen’s commercial and access data assets, guiding stakeholders on appropriate use, limitations, and best practices for interpretation. Assist in the curation of data from multiple internal and external sources to create fit for purpose, analytically sound data sets that support V&A insights, performance tracking, and strategic analyses. Support evaluation of new data sources to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Partner with V&A teams to conduct ad hoc analyses that generate actionable payer, trade, and contracting insights, ensuring the organization has a current, comprehensive view of access dynamics, payer coverage, reimbursement, and contractual performance.
- Deliver effective presentations of findings and recommendations to multiple levels of leadership through various communication channels.
- Robust understanding of biopharma data sets, including internal distribution data (e.g., 3PL, SP / SD), internal activity data (e.g., CRM), and third-party data (e.g., claims, syndicated market data, formulary and pricing data).
- Understanding of all aspects of Value & Access functions and the integrated roles of each key sub-functions (Payer, Corporate Accounts, Reimbursement, Pricing, GPO, Trade & Distribution, etc.)
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, Databricks. Proven experience using data visualization and analytical tools such as Tableau or Power BI to create impactful dashboards and extract meaningful insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively translate and present data findings into clear insights for business partners, including non-technical partners. Ability to synthesize analyses into compelling narratives and slides.
- Comfort with ambiguity and generating findings based on triangulations across multiple data sources.
- Bachelor’s Degree required. Masters or higher degree preferred
- 8 years of relevant experience within pharma/biotech or MedTech
- At least 5 years of commercial business experience, ideally within Market Access data and analytics
- Experience in effectively leading cross functional teams and vendor teams

Salary : $145,000 - $210,000
