About the Role
We are seeking a capable and detail-oriented Vertical CNC Machinist who can work independently from start to finish. You should be able to take a CAD file or engineering drawing and produce a precise, finished part with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Produce machined parts independently from CAD files or drawings
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications
- Set up and operate Vertical Milling CNC machines
- Select proper tooling and machining strategies
- Verify part accuracy using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision instruments
- Maintain high standards for quality, consistency, and safety
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating a Vertical Milling CNC machine
- Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and setup
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
Work Location: In person
