Lead - Snyk & Codewise Engineer
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite) – Charlotte, NC / Mt Laurel Township, NJ
We are looking for an experienced Lead Snyk & Codewise Engineer to join our Cyber Security team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in DevSecOps, application security, Python automation, and security tool integration. This role will lead the migration, implementation, and optimization of Snyk and Codewise platforms while driving enterprise-wide security automation initiatives.
Required Skills
8 years of experience in Security Engineering or DevSecOps.
Strong hands-on experience with Snyk administration, configuration, and implementation.
Experience with Codewise or similar code analysis/security scanning tools.
Expert-level Python programming for automation and tooling.
Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs and automation frameworks.
Experience with vulnerability management and application security best practices.
Excellent understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC).
Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Lead the migration and enterprise implementation of Snyk and Codewise platforms.
Design and develop Python-based automation solutions for security workflows.
Build and maintain integrations using Snyk and Codewise APIs.
Integrate security scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines.
Develop scalable automation frameworks to improve security operations.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to implement security best practices.
Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to engineering teams.
Drive continuous improvements in application security and vulnerability management processes.
Participate in architecture discussions and recommend secure design solutions.
Support enterprise security initiatives and platform optimization.
