We are currently searching for Housekeeper to join our manufacturing team.

                                                                Housekepper Focus Area

Responsible for the cleanliness and servicing of the facility, cleaning of equipment along with the stocking of supplies. Applies safety procedures and precautions as appropriate with material handling and disposal. Works collectively within the department to ensure that the facility is clean and safe for visitors and employees. This role will report to the Shipping and Receiving Manager.

Description and Responsibilities

• Disinfect, mop, sweep, vacuum, remove garbage and hazardous waste, clean furniture, windows, doors, 
• Clean restrooms, conference rooms, locker rooms and include mirrors, counters, toilets, lockers and floors, spot cleaning walls, and wiping all handles
• Stock restroom and locker room supplies and revisit throughout the shift to complete touch-ups
• Perform periodic jobs such as wall washing, vents, blinds, windows, etc
• Clean up unexpected accidents, spills, blood, and body wastes
• Operate floor cleaning machine, buffers, wet/dry vacuum, etc
• Be aware of Safety Data Sheets information for all Housekeeping areas
• Know all safety codes, i.e. fire and severe weather
• Be knowledgeable of all chemicals, disinfectants, equipment, supplies and the appropriate use in all areas of the facility
• Clean & polish drinking fountains, wipe down microwave and tables in breakroom and conference rooms
• Clean/dust offices and office cubicles
• Pick up trash and take to dumpsters
• Assist in other areas/department of the plant as needed
• Other tasks and projects as assigned by management
• Always maintains a safe and compliant work environment 
• Works safely and wears appropriate PPE for task
• Complies with all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures

Physical Demands of the Position: While performing the duties of this position, the employee must be able to see, speak, hear, read, walk, and stand, walk, reach with hands and arms.  for long periods. The employee must be able to pull, push, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, balance, and lift in excess of 50 lbs. There is extensive walking required
