The role
As an HR Generalist at IPL Schoeller, you will be a key partner in driving HR initiatives that build a culture of performance, accountability, and growth. This role requires expertise across core HR functions—recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance—while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted resource for employees and managers, resolving workplace concerns and promoting engagement.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for non-salaried roles, including interviews, screenings, and onboarding.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and compliance with labor laws.
- Support performance appraisal processes and employee development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate HR records and data integrity in HR systems.
- Collaborate on safety programs, return-to-work initiatives, and well-being activities.
- Prepare HR reports and KPIs to support strategic decisions.
- Assist with divisional HR projects and community engagement programs.
- Diploma or degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, PHR) highly desirable.
- 8–10 years in a generalist HR role.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Exposure to multi-site or fast-paced environments is a plus.
