Position Summary
We are seeking a smart, driven, collaborative, and fun addition to our Talent Acquisition team! The Freelance Talent (TA) Acquisition Coordinator is an integral part of the team and keeps the recruiting process moving - they will interact closely with hiring managers, talent acquisition partners, and candidates to deliver an exceptional interviewing experience. They will be responsible for scheduling interview itineraries across multiple agencies and locations, managing new hire offer letters, launching and adjudicating pre-employment background checks, and pre-onboarding.
This role will be 40 hours a week for approximately three months.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, Talent Acquisition (TA) partners, and candidates, anticipating changes in availability and making alternative plans in advance
- Provide timely interview status updates to TA partners, hiring teams, and candidates
- Accurately maintain the applicant tracking system and career portal by updating job and candidate information
- Create offer letters for approval
- Participate in ad-hoc recruitment projects to help scale the function
- Execute background and reference checks
- Coordinate recruitment events, career fairs, and college recruiting efforts
- Participate in departmental project work focused on delivering efficiencies and innovations to drive the Talent Acquisition operation function forward
Skills & Experience
- Passion and interest in working in Talent Acquisition and/or HR
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast paced, high volume, deadline driven environment
- Customer focused and proactive with excellent follow-up and a sense of urgency
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and written
- Ability to ensure the accuracy of highly detailed and confidential information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Positive attitude; ability to build relationships across multiple functions and business units
