Job Title: QuickBooks Bookkeeper (Construction Company)
Location: San Fernando Valley, In office position.
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Pay: $30–$35 per hour (based on experience)
We are a construction company based in the San Fernando Valley seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hands-on QuickBooks experience and understanding of bookkeeping for a fast-paced business environment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
- Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports including Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet
- Track employee time, payroll data, and expenses
- Assist with month-end and year-end close
- Support year-end tax preparation and work with CPA as needed
- Ensure financial accuracy and compliance with company policies
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks (required)
- Experience preparing P&L and Balance Sheet reports
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
Compensation:
- $30–$35 per hour, based on experience
- Full-time position, 5 days a week (Monday–Friday)
